Pronouns

Hey everyone!This is the second leasson of basic english spoken grammar.Moreover,the last lesson you did about nouns.In this blog,I'm going to teach you all about basic pronouns.To add to it,you're gonna learn defination and types and exercise.So,without wearing any time,lets get started......
                         Defination
A pronoun is word that is used in place of noun.Basically,pronouns are used to avoid repetition of nouns in our writing or speaking.
For instance-➡️ Ankur met Ankur's uncle on Ankur's way to school.
So,in the above example,we should change 'Ankur' with 'He'  pronoun because  Ankur is a boy.
➡️ Ankur met his uncle on his way to school.

                       PERSONAL PRONOUN
Personal pronouns refer to people,animals,places or things.The words I,we, you, he,she,it and they are called personal pronouns.
Example-My name is peter.I am ten years old.
                   IMPERSONAL PRONOUNS 
Impersonal pronouns indicates the non-living things.
Note-It is a impersonal pronoun and it is used for animals and things without life.
Example-I have a pet dog.It has four legs and two eyes.
                     POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS
The possessive pronouns are used to talk about things belonging to people.The words are mine,ours,hers,his,and theirs are called possessive pronouns.
For example-That doll is mine.
                       This dress is yours.
                     REFLEXIVE PRONOUNS
The word myself,yourself,himself,herself,itself    (singular)ourselves,yourselves and themselves(Plural).They generally refer back to the subject of the sentence.
For examples-I made this cake myself.
                        Justin has hurt himself.
Note-I and Justin both are subjects and myself and himself both are objects.
                      DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUNS
A demonstrative pronoun points out the person or object it refers to.This,That,these and those are demonstrative pronouns
For example-This is a bat.
                       That is a kite.
                       These are bats.
                       Those are kites.
This and These refer to person or things nearer the speaker and That and Those refer persons or things at a distance from the speaker.
                INTERROGATIVE  PRONOUNS
These are used to ask a question the words What,which,who,whom and whom interrogative pronoun.
For example-What did you say?
                      Which is your hat?
Note-'WHAT' is also used as exclamatory.
(a)WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY!
(b)WHAT!YOU DO NOT KNOW JUSTIN BIEBER?
                  INDEFINATE PRONOUNS 
The pronouns that do not refer to any person amount or thing in particular are called indefinate pronouns.The words someone,somebody,anything,anybody,
anyone,no-one,nobody and so on.
For example-Do you need anything else?
                      I can not see anybody in the class.
                      RECIPROCAL PRONOUNS 
A reciprocal pronouns is a pronoun which is used to indicate that two or more person are carrying out or have carried out an action of some type,with both receiving the benefits or consequences of that action simultaneously.
Each other and one another are reciprocal pronouns.
For example-✔️ Marina and Junan gave each other gold rings on their weeding day.
✔️ The kids spent the afternoon kicking the ball to one another.
                     RELATIVE PRONOUNS 
The relative pronouns refer to an earlier noun.The words who,whom,whose,which and that are relative pronouns.
For example-☑️ The boy who beat me yesterday is absent today.
☑️ That girl whom I met last saturday,was a singer.
                  DISTRIBUTIVE PRONOUNS 
It distributes the sense of the subject and object.The words either,neither and each.
For example-☑️ Neither of the boys are trustworthy.
☑️ Each of the answer is correct.
